The 'Good Vibrations Journal' (GVJ) Updated: March 14, 2017

The Good Vibrations Journal (GVJ) is a creation and an extension of MyWisdomBoard. It is a very powerful Pivoting Tool that helps us learn how to shift ourselves into a Beneficial Direction anytime we choose ! It can help us move ourselves towards a better feeling Vibration from where we currently are towards where we wish to go. This is an especially valuable skill to learn, if where 'we currently are', is more often in a Vibrational state of Stress and Lack, versus a Vibration of Joy and Abundance.
The GVJ is most beneficial to us when we are 100% willing and committed to feeling good . . . or at least better than what we currently are when we are not satisfied with how we are feeling.
Unconditional willingness says and shows that: I am willing and ready to let go of the old thoughts, feeling, and behaviors that do not serve me in a beneficial way . . . and I am now open to all new and better possibilities.
Any willingness or commitment of less than 100% will bring us the corresponding results.

The GVJ was originally designed to be an online interactive daily journaling tool on Facebook, but it has evolved into a more comprehensive teaching and practicing tool, that can be adapted and used in a variety of different ways . . . so, be creative with it and adapt it in whatever way works best for you.
The basic principle behind it is the same as it is for many other journaling tools you may have heard of, such as the Gratitude / Appreciation Journal, the 'What Makes My Heart Sing Journal', the Victory Journal, or the 'Happiness Journal'. The difference with the GVJ is that it is all of those journals wrapped into one. It moves our focus around many of the subjects and areas that we often struggle with . . . not just one. It helps us shift our perception . . . it helps us see that there are always more good and more positive things in our lives than what we give it credit for
. . . and the only reason we don't see them is because our mind is so focused on what we don't have that we want.
The GVJ also reminds us frequently that 'Everything' that IS and Everything we Experience 'IS' made up of Energy that carries a Vibrational Frequency . . . and we always have a choice to move this vibration in a better feeling direction at any given moment; simply by choosing to deliberately shift our perception and/or the focus of our attention.
The GVJ is the tool that helps us shift our perception/attention from repeatedly looking at and noticing what’s missing or what's not working in our life . . . towards looking for and shining the spotlight on the good things that are already there, but we are either judging, not seeing, acknowledging, or nurturing.
As we repeatedly practice this shift . . . as we increasingly notice, acknowledge, and enjoy the good of what's already there . . . no matter how small . . . it automatically begins to expand due to our attention that we are giving it. The opposite is also true. When we repeatedly notice, acknowledge, and feel badly about what's not there, the 'lack energy' of it not being there automatically expands, due to our attention that we are giving it.
The Law of Attraction (LOA) makes it so . . . because the LOA can only match what we are putting out.

The teaching aspect of this valuable tool is to bring into our awareness some common stumbling blocks that tend to create some repeated and unnecessary unpleasant Vibrations in our lives. Once we become aware of them when they are at work within us . . . we can then learn how we can dismantle and replace them with something beneficial that feels better.
Most of these stumbling blocks are simply seated within our opinions, perceptions, or beliefs that we have picked up and accepted along our trail of life. These are often either vastly askew or simply false entirely !
Consequently, when we live our lives from those askew or untrue beliefs, it often causes the unwanted turbulence and stress that we experience in our lives.
Some common Opinions, Beliefs, and Perceptions that are false include:
I have to have what I want before I can be happy and feel good.
There is not enough to go around for everyone.
I have no choice . . .
Somehow, in some way, I am not good enough to . . .
I am not meant to be happy.
Life is hard . . . Life is not fair.
I am not important . . .
I have no purpose . . .
Happiness and feeling good depends on what is happening outside of me . . .
i.e. other people, situations, or circumstances prevent me from feeling good or being happy.
I have no control over my life or what happens in my life.

The GVJ simply helps us to focus our attention on looking for, expanding on, and feeling good about 'what we already have' and 'what is true' . . . instead of feeling badly about 'what we don't have', that we want and 'what is false'. Consequently, when we feel good (or at least better) about what we do have and what is true, we are happier and life is easier . . . while when we continue to feel badly about what we don't have and what is false, we continue to be less happy and life is harder.
When we feel better, it is easier to be optimistic about what life is currently showing us and how we may envision our future. It makes it easier to make the best choices and decisions possible to move us in the direction we want to see ourselves go. It may even help us become more open to new solutions, choices, and opportunities that we may otherwise miss.

Feeling Good or not feeling good, depending on our choice . . . is the Starting Fluid that Fuels each moment as we experience each day . . . and thus . . . day by day, it is the Fuel of our entire life !
The Choice is Ours !
I ask myself: How do I want to feel about 'what is' in my life that I cannot change at this moment ? Do I want to feel good (or at least the best I can) or not ? If I want to feel the best way possible, it is my task to shift my perspective (Pivot) of how I look at the reality of 'what is' in this moment to a perspective that feels good (or as good as is possible). I accomplish shifting my perspective by shifting my attention.
You can learn more about this tool and participate by visiting our Facebook page. You can also benefit by participating privately if you prefer, or create your own version that works for you. The result may be similar if you are self-motivated. One advantage of participating and sharing actively may be that you stay more committed and focused because it serves as a daily prompt to look for things to write in it throughout each day.
Although at this time I only post in the GVJ on Facebook every other day, it would be easy to create a 30 day practice for yourself by looking at and focusing in on previous posts. Choose one particular one that interests or resonates with you each day and make it the focus of your attention during that day. Choose a different one each day for 30 days.
I am convinced that anyone who gives this practice his/her full attention daily for at least 30 consecutive days, will not only significantly magnify and expand the positive effect of it in their daily lives, but also significantly reduce the amount of time it takes to notice the beneficial impact of it.
This was exactly what happened with me. The journal really helped me notice even more and more of the good things in my life because I was focused on always looking for things to write in it throughout my day. Although I only wrote one or two simple things in there for a variety of reasons, I thought of lots of things as they were happening during my day that I could have written in it. It made me realize even more that 'Life is good' and 'I am Blessed with so much' . . . and since you have made it this far where you are reading this, then I am convinced that this holds true for you too, despite the possible arguments of your mind that says: You 'are different' ! It's just not true.
Whether you participate on the GVJ fb page, privately, or you create your own; I hope that you find this dynamic training tool helpful and enjoyable for creating, holding, and expanding a daily
‘Good Vibration’.

Here are a few samples of what is posted on our Facebook page. Generally, each of the photos has a paragraph caption attached to it pertaining to the subject, as seen in the examples below. |

We are all perfect with all of our imperfections . . . in this moment. To accept oneself with all of our flaws can be challenging because we often would like to be without those ‘perfect’ flaws.
The answer to this contradiction is to know that:
‘I am doing my best right now and I intend to take steps that help me move in the direction I want to move’ going forward.
Since you've reached this website and you are reading this, I venture to say that this is true for you.

Opportunities to experience some level of joy or happiness . . . big or small, are often there throughout our day . . . but we must claim them by becoming aware of them and giving them our attention. I was claiming my moment of joy when I was watching this rainbow, created by the sprinkling system of our lawn.

Today, I am Praising and celebrating the Wellness that I do have !
Maybe I can’t walk as fast as I would like to . . . but I can walk !
Maybe I can’t see as well as I would like to . . . but I can see !
Maybe I can’t do as many things as I would like to . . . but I can do some !
Today, I am looking at, praising, celebrating, and shining the spotlight on the Wellness that I do have !
